Christmas in July – Review

This year we went to the Halekulani Bowling Club at Budgewoi for our ” Christmas in July” venue and we had a good attendance. The meal served was a typical Christmas luncheon, not bad . It was followed by a very nice serving of Christmas pudding with custard and cream. Tea and coffee were also available.

We were entertained both before the meal  and after by the resident musicians and the Club’s compere. After lunch we were entertained by singer and comedian Tony Mazell, who received a standing ovation at the end of his performance.

Following the entertainment,  lucky number  prizes were drawn and the table where we were seated were fortunate in that seven of our members’ numbers were called.
