A Review of our St Patricks Day Festival

The event for March, arranged by the Events Committee, was a visit to Wyong Golf Course for Aunty Molly’s St Patrick’s Day Festival. We were supplied with morning tea and biscuits at the start for about 25 members who decided to give it a go. We were then treated to a short show by Aunty Molly and although she has been doing entertainment for many year she is still good.

After being relaxed by Aunty Molly we were supplied with lunch – beef and guinness pie, mashed potatoes, beans and carrots. The mashed potatoes beans and carrots being the colours of the Irish Flag – green, orange and white, nevertheless very tasty. This was followed by a trifle in individual cups which also went down well and more tea and coffee if needed.

After all this feasting, we were continued to be entertained by Aunty Molly and a young lady who sang and played a little on several different instruments. There was a number of clubs at the venue from different parts of the Central Coast and even a little further afield which helped to make for a very good day.

Congratulations to the Events Committee for another great outing. Keep up the good work.
